Hicksville Public Schools uses ParentSquare as our primary platform for school communication. Families receive messages through email, app, voice, or text, helping everyone stay informed and involved.

An account is automatically created for each parent or guardian using the contact information in our student information system. We encourage you to activate your account to download the free mobile app, set your language preferences, and choose how and when you’d like to receive messages.

Set Preferences: Click your name in the top right to set your notification and language preferences.

    If you choose not to activate your account or download the app, you will still receive important school and district notifications automatically to the email address and mobile phone number we have on file.

    However, activating your ParentSquare account gives you access to additional features and a more personalized communication experience.

  • By activating your account, you can:

    • View all school and district communications in one place
    • Receive notifications through the ParentSquare mobile app
    • Choose how and when you receive notifications
    • Send and receive messages with your child's school or teacher (when available)
    • Access communications for multiple children with one account
    • Translate messages into your preferred language

    • Download the ParentSquare app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or visit ParentSquare Sign Up.
    • Sign in using the email address or mobile phone number you have provided to your child's school.
    • Follow the prompts to activate your account and customize your notification preferences.

  • ParentSquare uses the contact information maintained by Hicksville Public Schools.

    If your email address or mobile phone number changes, please contact your child's school main office to update your records. This helps ensure you continue to receive important communications without interruption.

  • We use ParentSquare only for school-related communication. If you wish to stop receiving notifications, you can opt out at any time. ParentSquare Opt Out Form
